It’s time to acknowledge reality: another ceasefire is in shambles:
“[I]n the first hours of that ceasefire, we saw the Syrian Assad regime violate it 30 times and then [last night] we saw their air force attack the humanitarian relief supplies that were coming in…”

The Obama administration should remove the roadblocks to bipartisan legislation cracking down on Assad’s war machine:
“[W]hat we need to do…is pass the legislation that Eliot Engel and I… brought up, that would have third-party sanctions.. The planes that are being used right now by Assad are Russian planes… The parts come from Russia, the support comes from Russia and Iran. We need to be able to move forward with a bipartisan initiative and speak with one voice right now to cut off the capacity that Russia and Iran have to prop up Assad…”
