The Communist Party of China (CCP) is carrying out a repressive crackdown on pro-democracy protests in Hong Kong and a cultural genocide against ethnic minorities in Xinjiang. This hearing will examine how the CCP’s authoritarian regime is violating political, religious, and human rights in China and highlight the implications for U.S. policy toward China.
