This hearing will examine US foreign policy priorities toward Central America with a focus on addressing the root causes of migration from the Northern Triangle countries of Guatemala, Honduras, and El Salvador. Members will have the opportunity to engage directly with State Department and USAID officials to examine the Biden Administration’s strategy for the region and plans to address drivers of migration through diplomacy and US foreign assistance programming.
