The House Foreign Affairs Committee Republican Staff is evaluating applications for the Summer 2024 Internship Program. The deadline for summer internship applications is March 1, 2024.

All candidates should be hardworking, professional, and quick learners. Strong oral and written communication skills and a close attention to detail are required. Duties include assisting staff with substantive research projects, press matters, preparing for Committee hearings and markups, and daily operation of the office.

To apply for a summer internship with the Foreign Affairs Committee Republican Staff, please submit the following materials:

  • Current resume and cover letter
  • A 500-word writing sample on the below topic:
    • What do you see as the most pressing international issue facing the world today?
