Washington, D.C.—House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Ed Royce (R-CA) released the following statement after President Obama signed into law the United States-Jordan Defense Cooperation Act (H.R. 907), legislation authored by Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-FL):

“As ISIS’s barbarism continues to spread across the globe, it is vital that we support our allies in the fight to end its terror. That’s why this legislation is so important. It improves defense cooperation between the United States and Jordan, a key partner for peace in the Middle East and in the fight against ISIS. I’m pleased this important legislation is now law and I applaud Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen for her hard work and leadership on this issue.”
