McCaul Calls for Release of Austin Tice Ahead of 10th Anniversary of AbductionPress Release
Washington, D.C. – House Foreign Affairs Committee Lead Republican Michael McCaul (R-TX) released the following statement today in advance of the 10th anniversary of Austin Tice’s abduction in Syria.
“It has been nearly 10 years since Austin Tice was taken captive in Syria. Austin is a Texan, a Marine, and a journalist. His family and his community feel his absence every hour of every day. The United States cannot rest until he, and all American hostages around the world, are free at home. It is far past time for Austin to be reunited with his family.”
