Washington, D.C. – Today, House Foreign Affairs Committee Lead Republican Michael McCaul (R-TX) joined Chairman Gregory W. Meeks (D-NY) and a bipartisan delegation in departing on a congressional delegation to Austria, Switzerland, Moldova, and the Czech Republic to address current strategic transatlantic security issues and threats to democracies. 

The bipartisan delegation includes House Foreign Affairs Committee Vice Ranking Member Ann Wagner (R-MO) along with Representatives Ted Deutch (D-FL), Bill Keating (D-MA), Dan Meuser (R-PA), Ted Lieu (D-CA), Joe Neguse (D-CO), Madeleine Dean (D-PA), and Seth Moulton (D-MA).

Members will engage with government officials and civil society groups on the humanitarian crisis resulting from Russia’s full-scale invasion into Ukraine, and with international organizations, U.S. diplomats, and foreign ministries related to Iran diplomacy and COVID-19 recovery. In Davos, the delegation will participate in the World Economic Forum.
